Vendor PortalRecently released
A purchase-order view for your vendors
The Vendor Portal is a recently released default workflow for NetSuite vendor records and vendor contacts. A vendor signs in to a dashboard and sees their purchase orders and transaction history, with an account profile they maintain themselves.
- Who it's for
- Purchasing teams on NetSuite who field supplier questions about what has been ordered and what has been paid.
- The problem it removes
- Vendors have no window into NetSuite, so purchase orders are emailed as PDFs and every status question becomes a phone call.
One supported workflow
A supplier checks open purchase orders
Every step below is a screen or action that ships today. Where a step depends on configuration, the requirements section says so.
- 1
Sign in
A contact at the vendor signs in with their invitation or SSO credentials.
- 2
See purchase orders
Purchase orders issued to them in NetSuite are listed with status and lines.
- 3
Review history
Transaction history shows past POs and related transactions.

Good to know
Limits we would rather you hear from us than discover later.
- Vendors cannot submit invoices, update ship dates or upload ASNs in the portal today.
- Drop-ship fulfilment by the vendor is not part of the portal.
- Quality checklists and compliance document workflows are not product features.
Questions we get asked
Can vendors acknowledge or update a PO?
Not in the current release — the portal is a view of NetSuite purchase orders and history. Tell us which actions matter to you; the workflow is built from the same configurable modules as the rest of the platform.
