Customer Self-Service
Invoices, orders and cases your customers can handle themselves
Customer Self-Service is the account side of SphericalBRM: a branded, logged-in portal where your NetSuite customers see order status, invoices, statements and support cases, pay what they owe by card, keep their addresses and contacts current, and request returns. It can run on its own or alongside the B2B Ordering Portal.
- Who it's for
- Finance, customer service and account management teams on NetSuite who answer the same “where is my order / can you resend the invoice” requests every day.
- The problem it removes
- Customers cannot see their own NetSuite data, so they ask. Each request is a lookup in NetSuite, a reply and a PDF — and payment still arrives by phone or check.
One supported workflow
A customer pays an overdue invoice
Every step below is a screen or action that ships today. Where a step depends on configuration, the requirements section says so.
- 1
Sign in
The customer's accounts-payable contact signs in and sees the outstanding balance and a Pay Invoice action on the dashboard.
- 2
Review open invoices
Open Invoices lists every NetSuite invoice with due date and amount. They can open the invoice, print it or view the customer statement.
- 3
Pay
They select one or more invoices, choose full or partial payment and pay by card through Paystand or Accept Blue. NetSuite records a customer payment applied to those invoices.
- 4
Confirm
The balance updates on the dashboard. Your AR team sees the payment in NetSuite with no manual entry.

- Scheduled report emails are handled by NetSuite scheduling, not the portal.
- Notification types available depend on subsidiary configuration.
Questions we get asked
Can customers see invoices only, without ordering?
Yes. The workflow for a role is a set of modules; a finance-only role can have dashboard, invoices, statements and account with no catalog.
Do we need a NetSuite user license for every customer?
Portal users are NetSuite customer or contact records granted portal access; user limits come from your SphericalBRM license. Ask us about your volumes.
Can the portal use our SSO?
Yes — Azure AD, Okta and OneLogin are supported identity providers.
